How do you actually pick a remodeling team when everyone claims to be the best?
We're finally ready to redo our kitchen and bathroom and I've started reaching out to companies, but I'm already overwhelmed. Every single one says they're the best in the area, and after a while the words just blur together. A neighbour mentioned she used a leading kitchen and bath remodeling team for her place and was happy, but I don't want to just go on one recommendation. What I'm trying to work out is what actually separates a good team from an average one. Is it the portfolio, the references, how they handle the quote, or something else entirely? And how do you spot the ones who will disappear halfway through or nickel and dime you on extras? I'd rather ask a load of questions upfront than regret it later. Anyone been through this and got advice on what to look for?
